Newer electric mowers are cordless.

A Neuton mower is an electric mower, and the newest models are cordless. Electric plug-in or battery-powered mowers are less powerful than gas-fueled mowers but should provide adequate lawn cutting under normal circumstances. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Lawn

    • When grass is too high or too thick, it will hard to push the Neuton motor. Raise the cutting height or narrow your cutting swath and try again. It is also harder to push a mower uphill than downhill.

    Wheels

    • Wheels which don't rotate freely due to debris or damage make your mower harder to push. To check wheels, remove the safety key and the battery prior to turning the mower over. Check wheels and wheel wells for any debris and damage. Check to see if the axle is bent or needs lubrication.

    Weight

    • If no obstacles exist, the Neutron mower is lightweight and should be very easy to push on flat terrain. The electric Neuton mower is no harder to push than a gas mower that is not self propelled in similar situations. If you are concerned, have it checked by a Neuton service specialist.
