How to Troubleshoot Dodge Truck Problems

Like all vehicle brands, Dodge trucks require periodic repairs. Before spending money on repairs for your truck, examine the battery and fluid levels to ensure that it is not a simple maintenance problem.

Identification

Identify the model year of your dodge truck. Many times, problems will be specific to that year, making it easier for you to locate recall information, if any exists. Types

The Dodge trucks that have seen the most consistent recalls have been different versions of the Dodge Ram and Dodge Dakota. However, a number of 1980s and early 1990s models have also been recalled. These include but are not limited to the D150, D250, D350, W350 and the 1984 Dodge Rampage.
