Ink & Toner Certification
Certification of ink and toner cartridges is confirmation that they meet the standards of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO). This is a non-governmental entity. Currently, 159 countries participate in this organization to ensure product conformity.

Significance of ISO
-
Always look for quality ISO 9001 sets forth the quality standards for ink and toner cartridges and other products. This means government agencies, national partnerships and industry associations nationally and internationally conform to the same standards for designated products that directly affect customer satisfaction.
Defect Correction
-
Relative to the ISO 9001, when a product defect is identified, there is a well-documented procedure to correct it. The sooner a defect is addressed, the less expensive it is to make it right. With a set of standards to go by, every level of manufacturing is involved from factory employees to management. These standards also apply to remanufactured and non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer)products, so it is important to look for the certification on the packaging.
