Drying the Seeds
-
In order to freeze your garden seeds in the right manner, you must completely dry them first; otherwise, they can become damp and rot. Dry the garden seeds in the refrigerator or in a well-ventilated room. There is no set drying time, as the weather and humidity in the home can affect the process, so adjust the time as necessary.
Freeze
-
After you have thoroughly dried the seeds, freeze them. Place the seeds in an airtight jar or freezer bag and write the date and type of garden seeds on the package. Refer to the packet for the seed's specific freezing duration.

Before Planting
-
Take the seeds out when you are ready to plant the seeds. Defrost the seeds slowly in order to maintain the integrity of the frozen garden seeds. After they thaw, wash the seeds in cool running water and allow them to dry.
