The Viewsat organizes programs picked up by home satellites.

The Viewsat Ultra digital free-to-air satellite receiver joins all home theater components to one device. Once the receiver is set up and in use, you might experience trouble with power loss.

  1. Cord

    • The power cord might be disconnected or damaged. Unplug the power cord from the wall or strip outlet to reset the connection. Search the cord for damage, such as rips or frays. If the cord is damaged, replace it.

    Outlet

    • Power loss problems might be the result of a non-functional power outlet. Unplug the Viewsat power cord from the outlet. Plug it into a different electrical device to test the outlet for proper functionality.

    Sleep Mode

    • If the Viewsat is on but appears to have no power, it might be in standby mode. Push a button on the remote control, such as the "Channel" button, to awaken the Viewsat.
