How Wide Does a Peach Tree Grow?

Peach Tree

Orchard peach trees are often 15 to 30 feet tall and their canopies grow around 20 feet wide, if left untrimmed. Pruning and thinning peach trees keeps the trees smaller than their full potential in order to produce more fruit.

Semi-Dwarf Peach Tree

The semi-dwarf peach tree varies in size from a few feet tall to 15 to 20 feet tall with a canopy that reaches 10 to 15 feet in width. Pruning helps keep the tree's canopy trimmed.

Dwarf Peach Tree

A dwarf peach tree reaches about 7 feet at its tallest, with a canopy of the same width. Dwarf peach trees sometimes reach maturity at a shorter size and with a smaller canopy, depending on their growing conditions.
