How Are Solar Panels Stored in the House By an Electrician?
Solar energy is becoming more affordable and practical for homeowners. Most solar systems work using solar panels or photovoltaic (PV) modules. Your installer will probably place the solar panels where they receive optimum sunlight. Does this Spark an idea?

Codes
-
There are state and municipal codes governing where your solar panels can be placed. Building inspectors will inspect your system to ensure it is safe. It may also be inspected for plumbing and electrical safety.
Placement
-
When installing your solar panels, the contractor will probably place them on the roof. If this is not an option, the contractor will find the best place in your backyard to place them.

Direction
-
In the northern hemisphere, solar panels are normally mounted facing south. The panels can face up to 45 degrees west or east and still be effective.
In the southern hemisphere, north facing panels are optimal.
Tilt
-
The panels need to face the sky as much as possible. If the roof is flat, they do not need to be tilted. A tilt between 20 and 40 degrees is best with 32 degrees giving the most efficiency. If the panels are facing a wall, they need a tilt of 90 degrees.
