When acquiring a signal, place the GPS in clear view of the sky.

The Mio C320 global positioning system, or GPS, helps you navigate between two points using a digital map and voice commands. While using the GPS, you might experience problems with the charger.

  1. Reset

    • If the screen is locked up and doesn't respond when plugged into the charger, perform a system reset. Push and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the device powers down. Allow the system to rest for a few minutes, and push the power button for 5 seconds to turn it back on.

    Battery

    • If the C320 battery is drained and the screen won't illuminate when the charger is plugged into a power source, allow the Mio to charge for a moment. When the battery is completely depleted, it might take a moment to display that it's connected to the charger.

    Outlet

    • Unplug the charger from the wall or strip outlet to reset the connection, and plug in a separate electrical device to test the outlet. Examine the power cord for damage, and replace it if necessary. Plug the power cord back into the functioning outlet firmly.
