Can I Use a Dongle With a Blaze Chie Netbook?
The Blaze Chie netbook is a small and inexpensive computer. It is designed as a starter or backup computer for users who want an Internet-capable device with basic functionality. It comes preloaded with Windows CE, a very basic version of the Windows operating system. It does not support the use of a wireless dongle.

Wireless Dongles
-
The term "dongle" originally described an item of hardware that served as a software protections device. Over time it has also come to refer to small USB-enabled devices in general, especially those that allow Internet access. Some mobile broadband providers supply a dongle that plugs into your computer and allows you to connect to the Internet.
The Chie and Wireless/Broadband Dongles
-
The Chie has a built-in wireless adapter that allows it to pick up Wi-Fi signals. It does not require an external adapter or wireless dongle. As for broadband dongles, the Chie does not support them and they can't be used with this product.

Considerations
-
The Chie is designed for light tasks such as word processing and email. Besides not supporting broadband dongles, it has other limitations such as an operating system that doesn't support Javascript. Positive aspects include the low price and convenience of a netbook.
