Quickfire Bluetooth Help

The Quickfire cell phone features a touch-screen interface and Bluetooth, which is used to connect wirelessly to external devices, such as headsets. Once the Quickfire is turned on and in use, you might have questions about how Bluetooth functions.

Turn Bluetooth On

While the phone is in idle mode, push "Menu," select "Settings," "Bluetooth" and "Bluetooth." Push "On" or "Off" to turn the Bluetooth on or off, respectively. While the Bluetooth is not in use, turn the Bluetooth off to conserve the battery.

Search for Devices

If you wish to connect to a wireless device, first confirm that the external device Bluetooth is activated and in discovery mode. Push "Menu" on your Quickfire, select "Settings," "Bluetooth" and "Search Device." A list of found devices appears on the screen. Touch the device with which you wish to pair.

Connecting to a Headset During a Call

If you are in the middle of a call and wish to switch from your hand-held unit to a headset, activate the Quickfire Bluetooth. Turn the headset on, so that it's in discovery mode. Touch "Options" from the main screen with your finger, and then push "Bluetooth."
