According to AMS, a computer should meet or exceed the following specifications to run Autodesk AutoCAD Mechanical 2006: PIII processor at one gigahertz or faster, Windows 2000 or XP, 512 megabytes of RAM, Internet Explorer version six and 32-bit color at 1024x768 resolution. A slower processor may work but performance will decrease.
