Floral Topiary Trees
Topiary trees are trimmed into geometric shapes. A common floral topiary tree shape looks like a round ball on the top of a straight trunk. The height ranges from tabletop for miniature topiary trees to 6 feet tall. Does this Spark an idea?

Flower stems are cut to the same length, bunched tightly and secured with rubber bands covered with ribbon or floral tape. As the flowers open, the top of the bouquet takes on the shape of a ball and mimics the look of a tabletop topiary.

The flower stems are stuck into a water-soaked floral foam ball that's set on top of a sturdy straight branch. The branch is secured in a flowerpot. The flowers completely cover the foam ball and looks like a miniature topiary tree.

Roses make full-size standard topiaries. The blooming bush is grafted onto a variety of rose that naturally has a long straight trunk. The bush is then trimmed into a ball shape. Other topiary trees include lantana, rosemary and hibiscus. Flowers that bloom profusely with a sturdy straight trunk can be trimmed into a topiary tree.
