Squid Proxy Training
Squid is an open source, light-weight, high-performance proxy caching server that runs on multiple computing systems. Instead of increasing your company's bandwidth to allow for a higher cache load, Squid caches Internet objects away from the source. The separate Squid cache frees up your bandwidth and reduces access time.

Duane Wessels, one of the developers for Squid, wrote "Squid: The Definitive Guide" geared towards newcomers and advanced users alike. Wessels provided exercises within each chapter focusing on both introductory tasks and advanced tasks. This reference is an excellent starting point, but you can find more up-to-date information and techniques on the developers' page.

These two sites will help you learn the basics of using Squid and answer the most commonly-asked questions.
