Since the product's effects dissipate quickly, some gardeners use Roundup and Roundup Plus to clear areas of the garden for replanting. Roundup eliminate weeds and grasses that spring up in cracks or crevices and along the borders of fences, sidewalks, patios and driveways. Roundup Plus may be used to kill vines and living stumps cut close to the ground. Spray Roundup on warm, windless days.
