The Dodge Neon is a compact sedan that was introduced in North America in 1994. The 2005 Dodge Neon came equipped with a standard 2.0-liter V-4 engine as well as an optional 2.4-liter V-4 engine as an upgrade.

    • The 2.0-liter V-4 engine has a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) valve configuration. The camshaft is placed within the cylinder head, allowing it to power the valves directly.     2005 Dodge Neon Performance

    • The 2005 Neon has a peak output of 132 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and a peak torque of 130 foot-pounds at 4,600 rpm with the 2.0-liter V-4 engine. The sedan has a peak output of 230 horsepower at 5,300 rpm and 250 foot-pounds of torque at 2,200 rpm with the 2.4-liter V-4 engine.
