Polk Audio DSW PRO 400 Problems

The Polk Audio DSW PRO 400 is connected with audio systems to complete a dynamic sound experience. Once you obtain and set up the 400, you might experience issues with sound loss or distorted sound, and need to know how to correct the problem.

No Sound

If the subwoofer is powered but emits no sound, the speaker wire polarity might be incorrect. Inspect the subwoofer speaker wire connections, remove the wires and plug them back into the correct jacks according to the polar indicators printed on the device.

Humming Sound

If a humming noise is coming from the subwoofer, a TV cable line could be the cause. Remove the cable line from the cable box to see if the humming ceases. If there is a barely-audible hum, that is normal.

Reset

If the subwoofer power LED light is red, the subwoofer needs to be reset. Unplug the power cord of the subwoofer from the strip or wall outlet, wait 15 minutes, and then plug it back in.
