What Is AutoCAD LT 6.0?

AutoCAD software lets users do design drawings using a computer.

AutoCAD LT is one of a group of software products designed and marketed by Autodesk, Inc. The software is used for design of 2D and 3D objects on a computer and is used by engineers, architects and draftsmen.

Low-End Version

AutoCAD LT is a lower-cost version of the original AutoCAD program. This low-cost version is sold in computer stores and doesn't include all the features of the much more expensive full program but is useful for plotting, editing and sharing AutoCAD drawings, according to Autodesk. The full version is only sold by official Autodesk dealers.

2D Drafting & Design

The software allows users to easily create, modify and share 2D drafting projects. A suite of dynamic drawing tools makes it easy to make detailed plans or drawings and save them in the standard CAD DWG format.

Collaborate and Share

Autodesk makes it easy to collaborate with team members and clients. AutoCAD LT allows users to create and publish documents as PDF files or to incorporate PDF files into documents. AutoCAD LT documents can easily be shared with clients or collaborators using the Autodesk free Design Review software. It allows collaborative viewing and editing of AutoCAD documents.
