Founded in Kobe, Japan in the 1940s, TOA Corporation manufactures and distributes electronic products. The distribution list includes audio products like amplifiers, mixers and speakers, and security products like CCTV cameras and DVR's.

  1. Definition

    • A schematic diagrams a mechanical or electrical system. A line is first drawn from a part to a circled number, and the number is then referenced in a descriptive table.

    Purpose

    • Schematics describe the purpose and function of different parts of a device. As an example, a TOA schematic for an audio device may display the functional buttons on the front, along with a name and description for each. TOA schematics may also show where power cords and other devices can be plugged in.

    Detailed Schematics

    • TOA schematics may also include detailed diagrams displaying the flow of electricity in a product. These types of schematics reference resistance values, capacitance and voltages.

    Availability

    • Schematics may be found in the service manuals for many TOA products like amplifiers and graphics equalizers.
