Why Doesn't My Roadrunner Email Forward the Attachments?


If your RoadRunner email account won't forward one or more attachments, there are three main issues that can cause this problem. The attachments may be too large, a virus might have infected an attachment or the software could be misconfigured.


  • According to RoadRunner, they limit the maximum size for an email to 30 megabytes. The total size of all attachments on a single message you forward may not exceed this limit. The size of some videos and computer programs surpasses 30 megabytes.


  • RoadRunner also indicates that they scan sent email attachments and delete them upon finding any viruses. The attachment files could contain viruses you are unaware of or the computer might have a virus that infects attachments as you forward them.


  • Try sending an email without attachments to ensure the RoadRunner account is properly configured to send messages. Refer to the documentation for the email software to verify that you have followed the correct setup procedures.
