In a home setting, this is usually experienced as a router or modem crashing and disconnecting uTorrent.

Solution

Proper configuration of uTorrent will solve this problem. To determine your network's traffic threshold, select "Preferences" within uTorrent and then "Run Tests" under "Setup Options." The optimal network settings will be filled in automatically.
