Why Should One Install Flash OCX?
Flash is a browser-based application runtime environment. First released in 1996 under the name Macromedia Flash, it merged with Adobe in 2005. As of 2011, Flash is being distributed as Adobe Flash.
-
Working Principle
-
The Adobe Flash family consists of multiple products, both for playing and creating Flash content. The Adobe Flash Player uses OCX modules to allow interaction with system resources, enhancing the web-surfing experience.
Features
-
Adobe Flash Player allows the user to run movies, music files or even interactive games inside the browser. Flash Player has no extensive system requirements, being able to run on mostly any system capable of running a Microsoft Windows operating system.
-
Considerations
-
Flash Player can also play HD movies, but running such content comes with additional system requirements such as a powerful processor and video card. Check the Adobe Flash Player System Requirements page (see Resources) to see the system requirements for running HD content at different resolutions
