350 Engine Dimensions
The 350 was a spark-ignition, four-stroke engine. It had a naturally aspirated charge system and a tuned port, indirect, fuel-injection system. The engine had a displacement of 350 cubic inches and a compression ratio of 9 to 1. It had eight cylinders with two valves per cylinder for a total of 16 valves. The engine had a bore/stroke of 4/3.48 inches and a fuel tank capacity of 20.1 gallons.
Horsepower and Torque
The 350 engine had a peak 230 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 330 foot-pounds at 3,200 rpm.
The 1986 Chevrolet Corvette went from 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds, completed a quarter mile in 15.3 seconds, and reached 95 mph in 15.3 seconds. It had a top speed of 151 mph.
