Carbon Bikes
-
Motobecane offers a range of all-carbon bicycles. All of the Motobecane carbon bicycles include carbon rear seat stays, carbon forks or the component that holds the front wheel, and double-butted carbon-alloy main frame tubes. The Immortal Spirit Dura-Ace Motobecane carbon bicycle offers a monocoque carbon frame, which keeps it weight below 16 pounds for better racing performance.
Motorcycles
-
Classic Motobecane motorcycles, manufactured in the 1930's, contain longitudinal four-cylinder engines. Longitudinal engines--or internal engines with the crankshaft situated along the vehicle's axis--enabled easier mounting of the engine. Low sales later prompted Motobecane to manufacture motorcycles consisting of two stroke, three cylinder 500cc and 350cc (cubic centimeters) engines.

Mopeds
-
Motobecane launched a brand of moped in 1949 called the Mobylette, which was a motorized bicycle containing a low-powered gasoline engine and pedals. The Mobylette 40T model offered only front suspension and achieved speeds no greater than 25 miles per hour. The Mobylette 50V had a heavier body than the 40T, included front and rear suspension and achieved a maximum speed of 35 miles per hour.
