Lexar Multi-Card Reader Problems

Lexar Multi-Card Reader Problems thumbnail
Multi-card readers accept more than one memory card.

The Lexar multi-card reader accepts at least five memory card types that can transfer data from your digital camera, cell phone or game console to your computer. The Lexar multi-card reader is a plug-and-play device. No software needs to be installed. You only need a universal serial bus (USB) connection.

  1. Features

    • The Lexar card reader will not operate with your PC or Macintosh computer if there is a compatibility problem. Your PC must use the Microsoft Windows XP operating system or higher and your Macintosh operating system be OS10.4 or higher.

    Computer Drive

    • If your computer is on a network, the Lexar multi-card reader driver slots may not be detected by your computer, if your computer has many drives. To fix this problem, go to your PC disk management system to select a drive letter for your multi-card removable drive.

    Firmware

    • Your Lexar card reader may not be able to read your memory cards if it handles extremely large data files. You will have to update your firmware so your card reader can read the data from the higher capacity memory cards.
