Specifications for the Dell Dimension L900CXE

Dell released the L900CXE model PC in 2001. Topping the LxxxCXE model line, it offered a higher speed processor and more memory than other models in the L series. As a mid-range line, however, the L series and the L900CXE did not include discrete video or sound cards.

  1. Processor

    • The L900CXE features an Intel Celeron microprocessor running at 800 MHz with a 128 KB L2 cache. The socket 370 processor runs on the Intel 810 chipset

    Memory

    • Dell's L900CXE supports a maximum of 512 MB of RAM. The motherboard offers two non-ECC SDRAM slots allowing up to 256 MB each.

    Media

    • The Intel 810 chipset in the L900CXE includes on-chip video processing with dynamic video memory. Users can add PCI-based discrete video cards three-quarter length or shorter. A Creative Sound Blaster Audio PCI chip provides sound output.

    Size and Power

    • The chassis of the L900CXE measures 15.4 by 6.6 by 13.8 inches and weighs 22 lbs. The built-in power supply uses 145 watts of electricity while running.
