Palm 5 Viruses
Personal digital assistants (PDAs), such as the Palm V, are susceptible to computer viruses, the same as other computing devices which connect to the Internet.
-
Phage Virus
-
This virus fills the screen with a dark-grey box and terminates the running application. The virus then replicates to another application.
Liberty Crack Trojan
-
A Trojan is a virus disguised as another application. In this case, Liberty is a program that allows Nintendo Game Boy games to be played on the Palm V. The liberty crack virus deletes all applications on the Palm.
-
Vapor Virus
-
The vapor virus deletes all applications on the Palm V.
Prevention/Solution
-
