Information About Brochure Printing
Brochures can serve as portable advertising of your business, products or services. Brochures generally have one, two or three folds; the paper between folds is called a panel. Each panel can contain images and text to describe what your business does.

Printing Process
-
Brochures are usually printed on high-quality matte or gloss paper. Generally, brochures are printed one side at a time. When one side has been printed, the stack of paper is flipped over and reinserted into the printer so the second side can be printed. Brochures are folded after all print is examined for accuracy.
Types
-
Brochures can be printed in color or black-and-white. Single-fold brochures resemble greeting cards, although they are generally larger than a standard card. Double-fold brochures are folded at equal intervals, resulting in three panels on each side of the brochure. Tri-fold brochures have four panels on each side and can be folded like fans or folded over themselves. Paper size is typically a standard 8.5 inches by 11 inches or 8.5 inches by 14 inches.

Uses
-
Brochures can be designed and printed to develop a brand, promote an event or describe products. They can be mailed directly to a customer's home or placed in high traffic areas to encourage customers to take for further consideration.
