Why Is My Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner Blowing Out Air?
The Rainbow vacuum user manual suggests dismantling the vacuum after each use, and storing the unit in pieces. Failure to store the unit correctly may breed mold and make the unit develop a foul odor. A vacuum operating abnormally was most likely assembled incorrectly. Does this Spark an idea?

Directions
-
Check the placement of the hose on the power unit. The "air inlet" opening is located just below the power switch on the vacuum. Press the button on the hose connector and twist to release it from the unit. Replace the hose and attempt to vacuum as normal. Also, check that the power unit is housed completely on the water basin. Incorrect attachment may force air to come out from the basin instead of sucking it from the hose.
Features
-
The "exhaust cap" of the Rainbow vacuum is located on the opposite side of the air inlet opening, below the exhaust vent. To activate the blowing feature of the vacuum remove the cap, attach the hose and press the power button.
