Msvcr80.dll is one of several DLLs which compose the bulk of the Microsoft C Runtime Library. The Microsoft C Runtime Library is required to execute programs coded in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Microsoft Visual Studio is a set of tools for developing and building Web applications, Web services, mobile and PC applications. Msvcr80.dll is needed to run any of these types of applications created using this environment.
