Can I Wire My iPod to My Kenwood DPX-4020 CD Changer Input?

The Kenwood DPX-4020 features playback for CDs, AM/FM radio transmissions as well as cassette tapes. The inputs on the CD changer are not designed to be used with iPods.

Function

The inputs on the Kenwood DPX-4020 CD Changer are meant for connecting the device to your car's antenna and sound system. Unlike other head units, there is no auxiliary input for connecting external MP3 players.

Significance

Since the inputs on the CD changer are used to connect it to your car's audio equipment, you will not be able to hook up your iPod.

Potential

While you may not be able to hook your iPod up to the DPX-4020, you can play both CD-R and CD-RW discs that you can burn from the digital media files on your computer.
