Lint Traps
-
Lint traps are found in the front of the dryer just inside the door. The lint trap has a removable cover that holds the lint inside and keeps the clothes away from the lint as the dryer spins. The trap must be cleaned after every load.
Vent Lint
-
The dryer vent will have lint build-up that needs to be cleaned out once a year or more often depending on how much you use the dryer. Lint in the vent can cause fire when the exhaust heat from running the dryer gets hot.

Dryer
-
The back panel of the dryer should be removed monthly or yearly depending on often the dryer is used and cleaned out. The amount of dryer lint that collects inside the dryer at the bottom by the igniter can start fire when the lint pile builds up.
