The Hypercom T7Plus is an electronic payment terminal for business and retail use. It is manufactured by Hypercom and was released in 2003. If you experience errors or malfunctions with the device, troubleshoot it to diagnose and fix the problem.

  1. "Incorrect PIN" Message on Screen

    • An "incorrect PIN" message indicates that the customer has entered the incorrect PIN number for their card. Cancel the transaction, and have the customer swipe their card and try again.

    Receipts Won't Print

    • Ensure that the printing function is enabled by pressing the key sequence "Function" + 7 + 1 + "Enter". To print a test page to ensure that the printer is functioning, press the key sequence "Function" + 8 + 2 + "Enter".

    "Line Busy" Error Message

    • A "Line Busy" message indicates that the device does not detect a dial tone. Ensure that a digital telephone line is connected to the device's line port and, if so, make sure that the line is not damaged.
