After you shoot digital photos with a Canon EOS Rebel T2i, you can transfer the images directly to your iPad. Canon’s T2i is an 18-megapixel digital SLR camera. It has a USB port, which you can connect to your iPad with Apple’s iPad Connection Kit. The iPad has a backlit, color touch-sensitive LED display measuring 9.7 inches diagonally, which makes it suitable for viewing digital images from your Canon Rebel camera.

Plug the dock connector end of the camera connector from the iPad Camera Connection Kit into the dock connector of your iPad. The dock connector is on the bottom edge of the iPad.

Plug the USB end of the camera connector into the USB port on your Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera.

Press the “Sleep/Wake” button on the upper, right edge of your iPad, and then drag the slider to unlock the device. The Photos app automatically launches. Thumbnails of the photos stored on your Canon Rebel appear in the Photos app screen.

Tap “Import All” if you want to import all photos from the camera. Tap the thumbnails of individual photos if you only want to import selected images, and then tap “Import” and “Import Selected.” The photos transfer to your iPad.

Unplug the camera connector from your iPad and your Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera.

Tap the “Last Import” album in Photos on your iPad to see all the photos you just imported.
