Streamcliff Farm

Owned by Betty and Gerald Manning, this garden has been in Betty's family for four generations. It is located between Louisville, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. It includes the Twigs and Sprigs Tearoom, where visitors may have an herbal lunch or afternoon tea. It is open from April 1 through fall, with the garden open Wednesday through Saturday.
Carolee's Herb Garden

This garden is in rural Blackford County near Muncie and is one of the largest herb farms in the Midwest. It includes 20 themed garden sites with more than 700 varieties of herbs, emphasizing historic herbs and old-fashioned flowers. They offer plants for sale and hold workshops and other educational events.

Mary Rose Herb Garden

Dick Betz and Rosa Lee Sheard created this garden in 1999. It is strictly organic and includes a holistic retreat center and bed and breakfast inn. Breakfast includes local foods. Drop-in visits are not permitted, but the garden is open to all retreat participants and overnight guests. Massage therapy, Chinese medicine consultations and detoxifying footbaths are available. Reservations are required.
