Learning Edition 4.1 is designed to prepare the user for SAS Base Programming and Advanced Programming Certification Exams. It includes SAS Program Editor, SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1 and Base SAS 9.1.3.

Effective September 1, 2010, Learning Edition 4.1 is no longer available for purchase. However, copies purchased before this date will continue to be usable and supported by SAS technical support until the software license expires, which is on December 31, 2011.
OnDemand for Academics

SAS has a new delivery model for teaching data management to replace Learning Edition called OnDemand for Academics. Instead of being stand-alone software like Learning Edition, OnDemand is accessed online. Benefits of this model include data secured by hosting, readily available sample data and immediate availability of upgrades.
