Home Air Compressor Uses
Professional mechanics and contractors use air-powered tools on the job every day. But rivet guns and professional paint sprayers aren't the only types of tools which compressed air can power. Home users can find all kinds of applications for air power. Does this Spark an idea?

Maintanance
-
Do-it-yourselfers (DIYers) can get a lot done with pneumatic tools. Building a fence or repairing a roof goes much faster using a nail gun than with a hand-swung hammer. Home auto mechanics might use other air tools like die grinders and impact wrenches.
Recreation
-
Air compressors can blow up inflatable pool equipment. Blowing up a large, inflatable pool by hand (or mouth) can take hours. Air compressors can be great to blow up inflatable pools, mattresses, bicycle and ATV tires, and sports balls.

Considerations
-
Air compressors come in different sizes and pressure ratings. Choose a compressor that meets your needs in portability and power. Also keep in mind that most home air compressors need to be electrically powered, so you'll need an outlet near the location you'll be using the compressor.
