Lyme disease is a very unpleasant condition to contract. It causes many unpleasant symptoms and can be difficult to treat. The disease is transmitted by ticks found on small animals such as mice, squirrels and other rodents. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins complex (OPC) is an antioxidant that may have value in the treatment and prevention of lyme disease.

It is this last symptom, joint swelling, which is prevalent in lyme disease So, while there have not been a lot of clinical trials related to OPC and lyme disease, you can safely take OPC and see if it reduces the inflammation caused by the condition.
