Chevy Truck Trans Specs

Pickup trucks are good utility vehicles.

Chevrolet has three pickup trucks in its 2011 truck line. The Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Colorado and Chevrolet Silverado are the three options for pickup trucks.

Chevrolet Avalanche

The Chevrolet Avalanche uses a six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive for all trims.

Chevrolet Colorado

The Chevrolet Colorado has 4WD on all trims. A four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on the 1LT crew cab, 2LT ext cab and 2LT crew cab trims. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on the work truck, 1LT, work truck ext cab and 1LT crew cab trims.

Chevrolet Silverado

The Chevrolet Silverado has 4WD on all trims. A four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on the work truck, work truck long box, work truck ext cab, LT, LT long box, LS ext cab, LT ext cab, work truck crew cab short box, LS crew cab short box and LT crew cab short box trims. A six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on the work truck ext long cab, LT ext cab long box, LTZ ext cab, LTZ ext cab long box, and LTZ crew cab short bed trims.
