98 Camaro Z28 Vs. 69 Camaro

The Camaro was introduced in 1967 to compete with the Mustang. By 1969 it was well established as a muscle car and the Z28 performance package was available. The 1998 Camaro continued the tradition of the sporty Pony car.

  1. History

    • The 1969 Camaro is a classic collector's car. The 1998 version is a more modern version of the muscle car with plenty of power. Both model years had the Z28 package available, as well as standard feature packages. The Pony car concept was started by Mustang, and the Camaro has provided solid competition for years, whether it be with a 1969 classic, or a 1998 modern muscle car.
