CRM Rewards Department is an Internet and telephone ploy intended to entice victims into providing their credit card numbers. The representative informs victims that they have won a vacation and will ship the vouchers out, provided the victims pay for shipping and handling.

  1. Not-So-Good News

    • CRM Rewards Department contacts victims via telephone, USPS and email. The message usually states, "We've got good news for you!" CRM Rewards Department then informs the victim that he has won a free vacation getaway and needs to pay only $1 shipping and handling. The credit card or debit card is then used for unauthorized purchases.
