Hawaii's weather remains in the mid 80's mostly all year round, which is why it is an ideal beach vacation destination. Time is the important factor to make sure you lock in a good deal on your Hawaii vacation.
Airfares and hotel prices are always higher during the peak season which is during major holidays and in the summer. The off-peak season months are April, May, September, October and November, and during these months you will find the lowest prices.
The Hawaii Travel Bureau suggests booking your vacation six to eight month in advance in order to get the best sales and lowest prices during peak seasons. During off-peak seasons they suggest purchasing tickets 21 days or more in advance of your travel date.
Days of the Week
Airlines offer lowest fares to any destination for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Book your departure and return flight on one of these days. Hotels, on the otherhand, are cheapest on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Cheapest Day to Buy
Wednesday at 1:00 a.m. is when some airlines' cheapest flights go on sale on their website. Lowest prices are listed on websites until sold.
