How Much Space Does the Zune OS Take?

Zune's operating system allows you to make, edit and upload your playlists to your MP3 player.

Zune makes MP3 players that allow users to sync to their computers without wires and even listen to their favorite FM radio stations. Installing the appropriate software to your computer allows you to keep your videos, MP3s and other Zune compatible media in one place. However, you must have the appropriate space available.

32-Bit

Your computer must meet the minimum requirements in order to download and operate Zune's software. If your computer runs a 32-bit operating system, Zune's software requires 1 gigabyte (GB) of space.

64-Bit

64-bit operating systems require 2 GBs of space to operate Zune software.

Windows

Your computer must also be operating Windows XP SP3 or better in order to download and operate the required software.
