Camera Wizard is a feature found in the Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems that can be used to upload picture files from a digital camera device to the computer. There are a number of known errors associated with Camera Wizard.

Autoplay Issues

One reported error associated with Camera Wizard is that the application does not automatically initialize when a device is connected to the computer. This can occur when the autoplay settings for Camera Wizard are disabled. Microsoft has developed a hotfix patch and an Autoplay Repair Wizard application designed to fix these type of autoplay issues.
Camera and Scanner Conflict

Some Windows users have reported that the Camera Wizard does not work when a scanner and digital camera are connected to the computer at the same time. This type of conflict occasionally occurs with peripheral devices and can be fixed by adding an additional port labeled "21" with TCP settings enabled in the Windows Firewall section of the Control Panel.
