Why Does My Web Page Look Different in Firefox?
The way a web page displays on Internet Explorer might be different than that of Mozilla Firefox. You might notice differences in images or animations, website colors and text size. You may experience problems opening files that require plugins or an object may be blocked.

Web Standards
-
The reason for many of these display problems has to do with the W3C standards for website design. When a web page does not follow the standards set out for the design of the website, it may not be displayed as intended on Mozilla Firefox.
CSS
-
Some of the website design problems arise from using a faulty Cascading Style Sheet (CSS). This often causes problems with the font, colors and links that are supplied on a web page. This may be resolved by going to the File menu and selecting "View" and "Page Style," then changing the style to "No Style." This reverts the web page to a simple HTML layout that will allow you to view the basics of the page.

Display problems may also be resolve by clearing the cookies from the web browser. A cookie is a text file that holds a record of a website you visited in the past to make it easier to serve them when they are visited in the future. Clearing the cookies can create more space on the cache to store other files. You can clear the cookies by clicking "Options" and "Privacy." Select "Cookies" and "Clear Cookies Now."
