Varieties of Bird Nest Ferns

Bird nest fern (Asplenium nidus) has long, bright-green, lancelike fronds without the characteristic fern divisions or pinnae. The fronds grow up to 5 feet in length. The tropical fern is hardy in USDA zones 10 to 11 and comes in several varieties.
