What Is Windows CE 5.0?
Windows CE. 5.0 is a 32-bit Microsoft Operating system marketed towards the embedded device market. Released in 2004, it's the successor to Windows CE 4.0 and the third release of the Windows CE .NET family. Application developers use the Platform Builder of Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 program to create code and develop bespoke applications for Windows CE-based devices.

A number of features make application development easier and more interactive than in previous versions of Windows CE. Features include automatic reporting of bugs and DirectDraw for 2D graphics and DirectShow for camera and video digitisation.
