FAS Software Training

Fixed Asset Software, or FAS, produces accounting, logistics and money management platforms for small, medium and large businesses. FAS offers several training options in a variety of formats, including one-on-one, Web-based and group instruction.

  1. Classroom

    • Classroom-based Sage FAS training programs consist of a two-day overview of the asset accounting software. Subject matter includes creating custom reports, program utilities, company and database creation and asset data management. It also includes instruction in basic operating procedures, such as system setup and how to use the FAS software interface.

    Certified FAS

    • FAS offers two certified instructor-led training classes in the company's San Diego, California, location. The two-day Making the Most of FAS Asset Accounting class lasts a total of 16 hours. As of 2010, the class cost $1,295. The FAS 100/500 Asset Inventory course provides training in the software's barcode technology application for logistics applications, such as tracking and monitoring physical inventory. As of 2010, the one-day class cost $650.

    Customized and Anytime Learning

    • Customized online training from FAS involves one-on-one instruction from a certified instructor via webcam and the GoToAssist screen-sharing application. The program grants a user unlimited access to pre-recorded training classes for 30 days. The courses offered include government and non-profit asset accounting, capital improvement plan accounting, FAS 100 and FAS 50 accounting.
