The Skystream turbine will attain optimal performance in a location where the wind speed is at least 10 MPH. Mounting the Skystream to the Tower

The Skystream is typically mounted to the tower while still on the ground and then lifting the tower. It is secured to the tower using nuts, flat washers and locking nuts. The turbine is then further secured using torque isolating bolts, yaw half shields and M5 button-head screws. These pieces are included with the Skystream.
