How to Compare Conference Phones
Conference phones have been around for many years, but they have changed significantly to adjust with technology's advancements. Purchasing a conference phone requires analyzing its purported use within a room or company facility.
-
Function
-
Conference phones allow groups of people, normally within a business setting, to converse across distances, such as to another company facility. This form of communication is valuable in keeping company strategies and ideas cultivated and implemented.
Types
-
Conference phones have many different varieties. There are corded types that sit in the center of a conference table that house microphones and speakers for communications. In contrast, there are cordless phones that allow headsets to be used for movement around a conference room.

Considerations
-
Take into consideration that some conference phones come with either half or full duplex abilities. Half duplex only allows one person to speak at a time while the other party cannot be heard, whereas a full duplex allows flowing conversation to be heard on both sides of the phone line.
