    • Networks have always had a naming convention. You have your domain name or network name and then each individual computer and server must be assigned a name. For this reason having a good naming convention is important to analyze the reports from event viewer to troubleshoot specific computer problems.

    Resources

    • Resources are an important factor in network troubleshooting. Control panels allow you to view network settings and Internet connections and you can even have operating system check your connections like the local area connection or your wireless connection.
